Safety Plan for 2 and a half day trip to Lake Eppalock.
Activities include:
– Canoeing
– Short Bush Walks
– Camping at Scout Ground
– Off Water time
– Transport
Context: Year 10 students, co-educational Bendigo School, Two night trip
Aims of Trip: To allow students to get to know each other and work together. To explore the Lake Eppalock area that the students will be revisiting later in the year.
24 Students, 1 School Outdoor Education Coordinator (ME), 1 Sessional Staff Member e.g. Bendigo Graduate, 1 Teacher from Bendigo School and 1 eighteen year old GAP Student.
Trip:
Departure from school at 2pm on Day 1
Return to school by 5pm on Day 3
Trip is to take place 9th April 2014.
Students: Supplying their own equipment and food to be cooked in pairs. Trangia stoves and fuel will be supplied by the school.
