Use the journals and proceedings of your states legislature as the basis for your project. These records are available online as well as in many libraries. Also, newspapers and local news programs may be helpful. Your project will be graded according to the following criteria:-An explanation of the bill. (25 points)-The significance of the bill. Note its purpose and describe the changes it will bring.(25 points)-A summary of discussion about the bill. (25 points)-Explanation of the bills passage or failure. Note the results of the final vote. How many legislators voted for the bill, and how many voted against it? Did one political party favor the bill more than the other?(25 points)
