Format/expectations
The Practice Set is a simulated series of transactions for a business, that is required to be processed for an entire
accounting cycle. More detailed requirements are available in the Study Guide.
The final submission requires the full Practice Set of manual accounting journals, ledgers and reports to be submitted,
with the required sections completed as well as the prescribed computer reports. Do not submit photocopies or
incomplete books for the final submission as they will not be marked.
For internal students, Practice Sets must be submitted in your final lecture time. Any assignments not submitted at this
time will be deemed late and must be handed directly to the Course Coordinator, if available, or placed in the
Assignment Box located outside the School of Commerce Office.
For students not on campus, Practice Sets must be submitted via post to the School of Commerce postal address
available in this course outline. Postal submissions do not have to arrive by the due date but m ust be sent on, or prior
to, the due date – the postmark will be checked to verify this.
