Your two professional sources must support the argument you are making and successful Rogerian arguments always address the opposition viewpoint (usually at the beginning of the essay). Lets say for example you are arguing in favor of building a new soccer stadium. Many may disagree with your position. You must demonstrate why their position is not the best to adopt, but using the Rogerian style demands that you do so fairly and persuasively through a clear understanding and restatement of your opponent’s position.
