a) For this assessment you will sign up to and then participate in one volunteering event during the semester. Some options for volunteering (though you may come up with your own ideas too) are: Student Volunteer Army http://www.sva.org.nz/ Volunteering Canterbury http://volcan.org.nz and Christchurch City Council https://www.ccc.govt.nz/parks-and-gardens/volunteer. In previous semesters students have done beach clean-ups, planted trees, weeded council tree areas, helped in rest homes, community events, and with disability Canterbury among many other things. You may already do some volunteering that you would like to use for this assignment.
b) After your experience, you will write a reflection paper that includes the following:
i. Date and address of where the experience took place. Length of time you were there. Brief description of the setting and experience. (200 words)

iii. How might business become involved with this experience in the future and what challenges would they face in doing this? (500-600 words)
iv. How could your volunteer experience become a green job? (300 words)
c) Remember to relate your experience to the literature/course material. This means you might have to search for relevant literature using the library databases.
