1- Conduct and critique a systems analysis of operational activities within your chosen field and case scope.
� Executive Summary: (200-300 words) not included in word limit
� The aim of the report
� Brief introduction of the chosen organisation (ZARA Clothing Retailer store)
� What areas are being highlighted under each main headings/ tasks
� Supply Chain Management (as an example) (around 800 words)
� Introduce briefly the importance of supply chain in the chosen sector/organisation

� Critically discuss what are the good/ bad practices in relation to the supply chain areas such as:

� Logistics management/ International aspect
� Supply chain integration/ International aspect
� Outsourcing/ International aspect

� Demand Management

� ERP

4- Explore and analyse the gap between evaluation and implementation of operational and business process improvement. (around 800 words)
� What are the evaluation/ implementation issues of supply chain process improvement such as:
� Operations strategy
� Lack of skill
� Job design
� Outsourcing/ International aspect
� Any other?
5- Analyse multidimensional operational issues and apply techniques that could assist in either resolving or significantly reducing problematic operational issues within your chosen field and case scope. (around 1000 words)
� Focus on the supply chain key problematic areas (including international aspect for each particular area) such as:
� Strategy
� ERP
� Lack of Skills
� Any Logistics Management areas
� Inventory Management
� Planning and control
� Lean Synchronisation

6- Draw key conclusions from your assignment, that discuss the extent your business or case study has achieved alignment between both its performance objectives, and the configuration of its logistical and operational processes in addressing your assignment aim. (around 600 words)
