Late Adulthood-understanding human behavior across the life span.

A challenging new study has just emerged from the Centre for Economic Performance in the UK which has found that 23 and 69 are the ages when people are at their most satisfied. This study is included in this week’s readings. It might be easier to understand why 23 would appear in these findings, but 69? Isn’t this when we are considered to be declining in performance and descending into “old age”?
Using the information in Chapters 17 and 18 in Berk and your study guide, as well as your own research and experiences, discuss why these findings might be relevant and true for the period known as Late Adulthood, generally seen as including those individuals aged 65 and older.
