Campaign/Initiative Design Project Final Presentation (100 points) & Discussion Forum (20 points) Your final project will be a summative presentation of your health campaign/initiative. Your assignments from throughout the semester will serve as drafts that will help you edit and prepare this final piece of work. You will be creating a PowerPoint (or like) presentation that includes a recorded voice-over presentation. I would suggest using Screencast-O-Matic to present your project, but you are welcome to utilize other tools. If you are working in a group, all group members need to be involved in the development and delivery of the final project. That does not necessarily mean that everyone must talk (geographical locations may prohibit that), but it must be evident that collaboration and equal contributions were made. You should plan for a ~15 minute presentation (note Screencast-O-Matic has a 15 minute time limit in the free version so you cant go over!). Your final project is due Monday, August 14th by 11:59pm in Module 7, however, you may post it at any time prior to that date. Please note the Tuesday deadline as this breaks from our traditional Saturday norms! The discussion forum will involve watching and reviewing at least two of your peers presentations and responding in the forum by no later than Monday, August 20th by 11:59pm. Dont forget that you also need to respond to everyone that posts in your original forum post. Format for your presentation and required content: Introduction Provide an introduction of your topic supported by peer reviewed research. Your introduction should funnel to the purpose of your campaign and a summary of the intended campaign outcomes. Please also include an approximate duration for your campaign. Population/Demographics – A snapshot of your target population including all relevant demographics. Platform(s) Discuss your selected social media platform(s) for the campaign and provide a rationale as to why you selected these platforms. Your rationale should utilize peer-reviewed research to illustrate the relevance of your selection(s) to your target population as well as to your campaign outcomes. You should also present at least three (more is acceptable) SMART goals specific to social media performance. Campaign design Using social marketing theory and behavior change theory, present an overview of your campaign design, drawing distinct connections to outcomes and SMART goals using specific examples of posts, activities, etc. that you will utilize throughout your campaign. A minimum of five well-designed posts must be highlighted in this portion of your presentation. Posts should be appropriate for the intended population, have a clear and targeted message, and be designed utilizing the theories and best practices discussed in class and throughout the readings. Incorporate elements of your editorial calendar (i.e. frequency of posts, time of day, days of the week, etc.) into this section of your presentation.
