Include at least six credible sources in your bibliography, representing a variety of angles of vision on the issue. Avoid getting stuck in a pro-con debate mode, but consider the angles of vision of other participants involved in the issue or possibly in the solution. For example, if you’re researching how to make school campuses safer, consider the views of parents, law enforcement, school administrators, etc. At least 3 of your sources should be scholarly, peer-reviewed texts like those found in scholarly journals. New media and popular texts made be used, provided that they are evaluated for source credibility first. Avoid sources that cannot be verified for accuracy and credibility. Save sources as you work. I suggest taking reading notes as you first review each source. This method will make the tasks of summarizing and evaluating easier when you write the annotations.
