The rationale is not simply a description of the media. Consider the social/historical context and think about themes and issues we’ve talked about in class and those raises in the readings. For instance, forms of media and social practices created through these forms of media are important aspects and should be articulated in your rationales (for more on social practices of media see: week 1 reading)This is an individual assignment based on the topic of your group will be working on this semester. The written portion of the assignment must reflect your own work, but you can discuss the research questions with your group members.
