THE QUESTION: What are two things that occurred so far in your lifetime that make you who you are today?
Parameters: Answer could be either personal row rood-news related (i.e.: an answer may be something sappy, such as “the day you were born,” or may be
the day we moved to….,” or even something far more dramatic (major events, such as Pearl Harbor, Twin Tower attack, Iranian Revolution, etc.)
Whatever the answer, prompt the interviewee to say WHY those two events stand out it their minds (history is all about the “why,” and only a little bit about the “what”).
