Your research Report must be submitted as a PDF file through Turnitin by the due date. Discuss and confirm your research report with your tutor. Layout of Research Report Please use the headings listed on the next page Research Reports are to include the following sections: Cover page Include your name, student number, topic and tutor Table of contents include page numbers Introduction: Describe the overall aim of the research (The broad issue or problem that the research aims to solve). Significance (Explain why this issue is important) Provide two or three research objectives. Literature review summary This will be a SUMMARY of the essay you have already done for Assignment 1. You will need to select the best parts to include here. Conceptual framework A diagram of how the different concepts in the proposed research are related. You may use (and reference) one from a published source, or draw one yourself. Methodology: Describe the use of either a qualitative or quantitative methodology. Explain why this is the best method. Sampling Who would the participants be? How will you find and access them? Ethics Describe at least two of the most important ethical issues in this research. Conclusion Summarise how the proposed research will help address the research issue/problem. Indicate at least one group of people (or animals) who would benefit from this research.
