You’ll need to research the English common law version of that crime and explain the elements needed to prove it as well as defining any terms necessary. Then select a state and look for the statutes for the same crime and explain the elements and defined terms for it. Then you’ll do a comparison and contrast between the English common law version to the state statute version.
