REQUIREMENT FOR THE CASE STUDY
• Case 20.1. Citizen’s Gas Company.
Students will read the case and respond to the following requirement:
1. Discuss the criteria that must be considered in specifying the basic structure and features of Citizen’s Gas Company’s new system to assist in planning its natural gas needs.
2. Identify 3 major data items that should be incorporated into Citizen’s Gas Company’s new system to provide adequate planning capability.
3. For each item identified, explain why the data item is important.
4. For each item identified, describe the level of detail that would be necessary for the data to be useful.
The format of the report is to be as follows:
o Typed, double spaced, Times New Roman font (size 12), one inch margins on all sides, APA format.
o Type the question followed by your answer to the question. And there should no plagiarism in your paper.
o In addition to the three (3) pages required, a title page is to be included. The title page is to contain the title of the assignment, your name, the instructor’s name, the course title, and the date.
Writing – Grammar, sentence structure, paragraph structure, spelling, punctuation, APA usage. (A minimum of two citations is required.) One of the citations should be Accounting Information System. By Romney, M., & Steinbart, P. (2009). Accounting information systems: 2010 custom edition (11th ed.). Upper Saddle River, NJ: Pearson.
