Is Colorados law unconstitutional? Were the bakers actions protected by the constitution?

The Supreme Court heard a case this past term involving whether or not a baker has the right to refuse to bake a cake for a gay couple if they have a religious objection. The state of Colorado alleges that the bakers actions violate state non-discrimination laws while the baker contends that his actions are protected by the first amendment.
The Court ultimately ruled in favor of the baker, but the ruling was narrow in focus and did not establish judicial precedent on the questions of discrimination and first amendment rights.
Your paper should not focus on whether or not gay marriage is morally correct or sinful. It should also not focus on whether it was morally correct or sinful for the baker to refuse service or whether or not the couple should have brought legal action against the baker. Were interested in the question of the law and constitutionality. Your position should speak to the question of where the line is drawn between the first amendment and discrimination.
Read the following article, perform outside research, and support a position. ALL of your arguments and positions should be supported by documented outside evidence.

prepare a 3-5 page report about strategic training and development

Using the criteria Training uses to rank organizations as well as from your own research, prepare a 3-5 page report about strategic training and development in your chosen organization. Your report should include, but is not limited to, the following elements: 1. A description of the organization and its major products and/or services (a brief description — no more than two or three paragraphs). Try to find information about the organizations mission and/or goals and how its training function is organized. The organizations website and its annual report, particularly the letter to shareholders at the beginning of the annual report, are good sources of information. Be sure to cite the specific web page where you found information used in your report. 2. An assessment of the characteristics of the organization that help it excel in training and development. Include factors such as (but not limited to) the total budget for or amount of money spent on training and development; the level of employee involvement in training and development activities; the type(s) of training and development opportunities offered; the organizations investment in and/or use of technology for training; and the availability of benefits such as tuition assistance. 3. An assessment of how the TD function operates in the organization. How is the TD function organized? For a description of three training organizational models, read Organizational Models in Training (Training Industry, 2013), available at http://www.trainingindustry.com/wiki/entries/organizational-models-in-training.aspx. Does the organization use training needs analyses (TNAs) to identify performance gaps or the need for new skills to support business strategies and initiatives? Does the organization employ the ADDIE, RID, or Agile approaches to design training? Does the organization embrace any of the TD competencies described in the ATD competency model mentioned in the Week 1 lecture? Freifeld, L. (2018, February 13). 1. Analyze the pros and cons of the use of the implanted RFID or the smart card. To assist you in analysis, explore the HealthCare IT News (http://www.healthcareitnews.com/) and investigate other sources on the internet or in the current literature. There are companies currently producing chips.

The government has created a committee to investigate the potential of implanting a radio-frequency implantable device (RFID or commonly known as a chip) in every U.S. citizen OR on the use of the smart card (i.e. card that incorporates an individuals medical care record). In order to reduce the issues surrounding patient safety including patient identification, and maintenance of a complete and accurate history of disease processes and medications, this RFID or smart card will contain all of the individuals medical information.
When the patient arrives at a point-of-care, the RFID or the smart card is scanned, and all of the information is uploaded into the provider Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Upon discharge, information is then downloaded back to the RFID or the smart card.
You have been invited as a nursing representative for your state to provide a report to the committee regarding the use of the RFID or the smart card. Choose one of these technologies and complete the following information to produce your report.
Instructions:
Read their marketing information for additional background information.
2. Identify how you have incorporated the use of either of these technologies or other smart device (such as Smart phone) in your personal and professional life? How has it been incorporated in society?
3. What are the potential legal, ethical, and social implications of a policy for use of the RFID or the smart card is instituted at your healthcare system?

5. Discuss the logistics: how does the healthcare provider access the information from the RFID or the smart card?
6. In thinking of the scenario above, identify the extent that patients are able to access their own information can the user access the exact same information as the healthcare provider?
7. What types of policies might be needed at your healthcare facility to safeguard patients who have an implanted RFID or the smart card?
8. Identify populations who might greatly benefit from the use of the RFID or the smart card? (e.g. Persons with Alzheimers, kids, etc.).
