Portfolio Project

The stock market crash of 1929, which led to the Great Depression in subsequent years, resulted in two major initiatives. At the domestic level in the United States was a series of regulations on banks and social programs to protect citizens. On the international level was the establishment of the Bretton Woods institutions to protect against another global financial crisis. More than 80 years later, can we say that these changes had the intended effect? For your final assignment, develop a critical assessment of international financial institutions by addressing the following points:
How have they impacted investor risk?
How have they impacted currency rates and exchange?
How have they impacted international banking?
Discuss and cite at least seven credible sources (such as research articles from peer reviewed journals, cases from the WTO, and professional and academic references) to support your analysis. Do not use unverifiable sources such as articles without a responsible author or institution. Your paper should be 10-12 pages in length, well written, and formatted in conformity with CSU-Global Guidelines for APA Style.
