Part C: Performance Management (30 marks) Consider the description that you have designed in Assignment 2. Choose one of the key duties, and consider a scenario whereby an individual is struggling in their performance of one of these key duties. Start with a brief paragraph describing the task of performance management. What is it? Then write a script to deliver feedback about the issue; ensure that you: Explain the purpose of the meeting including what the duty is. Define your expectations (assuming you are the employees manager) Provide overall performance feedback. This needs to be in a dialogue format, what will you say, what you anticipate the individual will say, and so on. Describe how you will achieve an action plan for improvement with the individual by the end of the discussion and spell out what that plan is and how it will be assessed Make sure you follow the best practices from the textbook in order to construct this script.
