D-Day Normandy 1944

Below is the noted assignment. The focus of this essay will be on the importance of D-Day on the beaches of Normandy in 1944. Please focus on the actions that led up to d-day, the impact d-day had on the war, and why the decision to act on that day on that beach was important to future action in the war.

You must properly cite the documents you select to support your research in both footnotes and in your annotated bibliography.

You will be assessed on:

The development of your thesis and content (avoid generalizations and defend all assertions/conclusions)
Writing clarity (concise, well-written, clear, and coherent narrative).
All paragraphs should be well-developed [does not move away from the central focus of the analysis], and follow a chronological structure.
