Length: 800
In this assignment, you will develop a short paper based on readings about the consumer choices related to sustainability. You will explore the relative merits of disposable versus reusable cups by investigating the idea that reusable cups are a more ecologically sustainable choice for consumers than disposable cups, evaluating the evidence for and against this idea and then setting forth an argument concerning your assessment of this assertion in a clear and concise manner. Specifically, you are being asked to apply the twin concepts of the ecological footprint and life-cycle assessment to evaluate whether disposable or reusable cups are the most sustainable choice for consumers.
