You will be responsible for preparing a memorandum for the man elected governor of the state of Kansas this coming November. This memorandum will summarize the top three problems the governor will have to confront in the first year of his new electoral term. In addition to identifying and describing the problems in a concise but informative manner, you must offer guidance to the governor on how to cope with these problems in a manner that will maintain the public’s confidence in this administration while at the same time doing something to resolve or improve the conditions associated with the problem. This memorandum must provide verifiable evidence to support your arguments and recommendations (authorities and foot/endnotes).
The final product will be due in Nov. I will provide you the exact date later. The format can be a standard academic paper of at least 6 but not more than 10 pages (approximately 1200 to 2500 words) plus references and explanatory foot/endnotes.
