we can learn things we do not know

Using just what we have read so far, write a 5-paragraph paper that argues either (a) that we can learn things we do not know or (b) that we cannot learn new things. You must use Plato (Meno; if you want to refer to the Theaetetus excerpts that is fine); you may use Cavafy and Danto for support if you wish.
The paper will be just 5 paragraphs long.
Paragraph 1 = Thesis statement with map of what’s to come
Paragraph 2 = 1st piece of evidence. Use 1 quote from Meno, explain what it means, and then explain why it counts as evidence for your argument
Paragraph 3 = 2nd piece of evidence. Use 1 quote from Meno, explain what it means, and then explain why it counts as evidence for your argument. (The quote here must be different than the quote in the previous paragraph.)
Paragraph 4 = Objection. Using either a 3rd quote from Meno, a quote from Theaetetus, a quote from Danto, offer up an objection to the argument as it stands.
Paragraph 5 = Resolution+ conclusion. Explain why the objection does not undermine your argument. Find some reason to say why considering the objection made your argument better. Wrap things up.
